My thanks to The Committee for the invitation to judge at this lovely show, to the exhibitors who entered their dogs, my steward for keeping me on the straight and narrow and the co-operation of ALL the exhibitors when one of our own was taken ill. Nice to see Deerhound folk, supporting one another.

1st Bond’s Regalflight Falon BP - 11 month old feminine, well balanced bitch puppy, strongly built, with elegant head, dark eye and correct bite. Lovely length of neck onto well laid shoulders. Good return of upper arm, straight strong boned legs with neat feet. Good forechest, with width of brisket. Good depth of chest, with nicely sprung rib. Adequate length of loin onto broad strong quarters. Good slope to croup and well set tail. Plenty of length from hip to hock. She moved well and with purpose once she settled.
2nd Spring- Arnold’s - 10 month old beautiful bitch puppy of a finer type than winner. Feminine head, with dark eye and correct bite. Small neat ears, adequate length of neck onto well laid shoulder, straight legs and neat well knucked feet. Good rear angulation with adequate width of loin. Well developed 1st and second thigh. Moved well. Beautifully presented and well handled.

1st Pink’s Greyhawk Romanie Drom RBOB -18th month old male maturing nicely. Masculine head with dark eye, small ears and correct bite. Adequate forechest. Well boned, straight legs with well knuckled feet. Strong, well muscled neck onto well laid shoulder. Good depth of chest, spring of rib and broad quarters. Moved well.
2nd Erewhon Wanton Flame
Lovely mature shapely bitch with feminine head. Good front, neat feet. She did not move very well today.

1st - Shannon’s Erewhon Celestial Fire BOB
2.5 year old masculine dog who looked as if he was capable of a day’s work. Well balanced with good bone and well knuckled feet. Good forechest, depth of chest and spring of rib. Well muscled loin with strong quarters, lovely fall away. Lovely true movement.
2nd - Hamiltonhill One Vision
6 year old pretty, shapely bitch. Well constructed, but didn’t have the substance of winner nor the motivation on the move.
